Rusting out where the exhaust pipe meets the catalytic converter on both sides. Filled it in with "cat cement" then wrapped it in exhaust tape as soon as the "cement" dried. My issue is the car is louder than its should be and I don't need to be getting pulled over any time soon. I was thinking that I could get a heat and sound insulation, but I can't find one with a high enough fire rating at any of the local home depots or Lowes. Any place anyone could recommend to find the stuff other than online? And if anyone has a suggestion other than welding the area around my cat would be appreciated. I'm looking to get another car in the next couple of months so I only care for this to work for that period of time. Thanks!
