Car wreck: What do I do?

This is my very first wreck ever and I don't know what to do. I was at a stop sign waiting to turn left and traffic was clear from both sides except for a truck coming and he had his turn signal on and was going slow so I thought he was going to turn so I went on ahead and pulled out and the next thing I knew he had ran into me. The cop got my insurance card and license but the guy never asked for any of my information. I was so in shock and crying I never thought to ask for his. What do I do? :'(

Report the accident to your insurance company (or the insurance company of whoever owns the car you were dirivng). They will take it from there.

considering what happened, you're likely at fault for the accident. since the cop got your insurance info, he probably gave it to the other guy because of which. you'll probably be hearing from his insurance company and/or yours sometime soon about what happened, at which point you can work things out. if you don't hear from either one, call your company and explain what happened. don't worry, everyone has a fender bender at some point.
