ceremony - so why not listen? to their politics as well? shouldnt Brown realise the 3rd Runway isn't wanted by all kinds of folk?
If we can pay attention to every trivial act of celebs, and give them all our money, then why would it not be possible to listen to their more serious utterances? After all, we complain about them being trivial otherwise.

Clever move by our government. We know that celebs have a remarkably short attention span (eg Naomi Campbell and fur). When the land is actually needed for runway 3, they'll all have moved on and will sell the land happily. Much better that having to do compulsory purchase on real people.

Yes, but there are more that do want it, that's why there's an argument and 'need' for protest and they're pulling out the so-called celebs.
 
Just seen that Greenpeace have also bought land needed for 3rd Runway. Should put up a good fight when compulsory purchase begins.
 
Yes. Of course its not wanted. My house is right where they want the runway to be. Lets bulldoze Gordon Browns house and see how he feels! Let Greenpeace and all the others bring out their weapons and sort him and his government out once and for all. Why should there be a compulsory purchase on our houses? Why should a private concern be able to buy our houses? BAA is now owned by the Spanish so that means we are giving up our homes to them? Terrorists! Our government are Terrorists forcing people out of their homes...destroying old villages and cemeteries where our families are buried.
Whats the use of fighting terrorists abroad when our Government are terrorists themselves? And those that say we are being compensated...compensated??? 2002 house price, curtains and carpets,, solicitors and removal fees....is that what you call compensation? Downgrading.that's what is going to happen to us!
