I'm going into the Marines and hoping to get a mechanic or aviation maintenance MOS. Will I ever be allowed to have or use a cell phone at any time whether it be during my MOS school or on base or anything?
During boot camp definitely no you will not get your cell phone. At AIT you probably will be able to have your phone. You will be able to have your cell phone once your done with training for sure and at your duty post. Just don't txt in a class or walk and talk on the phone, things like that.
