I'm not sure if this is the correct place to be asking these questions but I don't think verizon wireless has some type of forums. I have unlimited texting and i live in california. I recently visited Mexico and as soon as my plane landed, my cellphone said "Roaming". Later on I went deeper into mexico and lost service. Im on my way back home and decided to stay at a hotel near the airport, im still in Mexico. I got service again but it says "roaming" once again. So heres my questions: If i text any of my friends in california, will i get charged a lot of money? and will THEY also get charged a lot of money if they reply? Also, will i get charged a lot if I call someone who is a verizon user in california? what about if theyre not a verizon user?
