i am currently thinking more and more about getting my first car (truck) in about 12 -15 months and i want to spend about $4000 canadian. I want to get a good idea on like what is usally the life on them? I will want to customize it a little bit ie. a proformance exaust, maybe lowered suspension. Probably a sound system with one or two 12inch subs. Are these reasonable mods that i would be looking to do?
Will these viechals take well to these mods or should i look to do other things? How much would i be looking at in canadian dollars to do a 2inch front drop and 3inch drop in the rear on an s10/sonoma. or a blazer/jimmy?
I have thought of just getting a chevy s10 xtreme because that is kinda of what i am looking for, however no matter how hard i try seching i cant find one. So basically please dont tell me to just buy trucks that are factory tuned or special edition, because i have already looked into that.
I am not looking to do anything major on the truck i just want to know if these s10/somoma's and blazer's/jimmys will take well to my wants. Lately i have been leaning more towards the jimmys and blazers because i can get them for a consideriable price difference and they'd be in pretty good condition with good bodies on them.
-I just want to know if these trucks are good for what i am looking for?
-Will it cost me to much money to do these mods, i imaigen that i could do them myself with a help form my friend who is a mechanic, so that would save me on shop fees.
ps. i am still in high school so money on it will be tight that is why i am waiting another year or so, that way i can get something good to start with. Also pelase dont tell me to check out ebay for trucks i would like to buy one in person.
