I am looking to get into MMA
mostly Muay thai kickboxing
& Brazilian Jujitsu
There is this new MMA gym that opened up
close to my house, its on Folsom blvd
but it is smaller then the gym in downtown,
Its Ultimate fitness MMA.
The Month to month contract is 160 a month
The Year long contract is 140 a month.
Plus there is a 100 $ enrollment fee.
I don't know if i want to commit to
a long term commitment like that.
It is too much money, & the gym is not that big.
it will cost me almost 2000 $ in one year.
I was given a free one week pass.
but the owner seemed kind of Pushy
Kept asking when im going to sign up
when i only went there 2 classes, and
one other time, was a open gym hours.
That too me, feels like, they are just out
after the money, and to get some new members.
Makes me feel like, they just want to get the money.
Get me to sign a year contract, and move on.
The reason i say this is,
Because, when they gave me a
free one week pass to check out there gym
the three times i went there,
there was barely anyone there,
2-3 people tops.
Now i don't know if its the one i want to go to
Its close to my house, but the problem is
It is really expensive, and i don't know if i am
willing to be stuck in a year long contract.
The gym is still developing & there is
not that much classes, or people attending
this gym, as far as i seen. They are still
fixing up the gym, it is smaller then i expected.
Should i just look for other gyms.
So what should i do ?
