Okay wow this will take a long time...I'm on my phone typing

I've asked you here to quench my thirst of answers. Or a fulfilment of statisfaction of my theory

Okay so I am a Christian. Im not a very good one though.. I curse I don't go to church I don't read the Bible I pray mainly for selfish reasons... but I still know God loves me..

Christians: have you ever read the Bible? I'm listening to the audio book...god seams pretty harsh.... he killed a guy cause his brother wouldn't have sex with his brothers wife? Something similar to that... what I'm trying to say is we view him as this loving god like the cartoons are. Hes all nice and forgiving... but he seams pretty strict and annoyed at humans. Were so sinful... so I guess my problem with that is I've stooped praying cause I'm like...oh that's nothing compares to the dying kid in Africa so I feel like a selfish brat. But although our problems with never compare to those very less unfortunate does that mean our prayers arnt important? Does god care about me wanting clear skin or to be skinner? Does god only help the people who have earned it?
I want real oppinions.

God is concerned about His children's even minor problems but the vast majority of the contents of your prayers should deal with the needs of others and PRAISE AND THANKS to God,Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

A few people here disagree with Epicurus, yet what he says is true, evils does exsists, and your god fails to smite them, at most he 'makes' policemen and soldiers and theyre all useless, so what good is he?

So.... you're saying we should blame Satan actually, who causes all the turmoil. Not God. So... we must blame who is afflicted by Satan or help them understand? Hmm... celebrities, sports stars, gov't, salvation army, all things that are satanic. Sure you might see a celeb actin oh so "caring" about this starving child who does it once or twice to increase his/her reputation, but after that they take a private jet to some orgy on some private island with $200 million dollars in the bank they will never use or use for selfish purpose. Don't forget the gov't. Trillions could have been used for better purpose.

Jesus, the King of Kings, wants all of us to always help out everyone one that are truly unfortunate and Christians do the most and not all Christians do which is no good too. You won't see atheists/satanists doing that.

Christians: have you ever read the Bible? yes i have

god seams pretty harsh.... he killed a guy cause his brother wouldn't have sex with his brothers wife?
yes the brother was to carry on his brothers line and refused to

But although our problems with never compare to those very less unfortunate does that mean our prayers arnt important? no it does not

Does god care about me wanting clear skin or to be skinner? yes

Does god only help the people who have earned it?
he helps those who have salvation and follow and worship him

The bible has some good morals to be sure, but as you've listed above, it contradicts it.

The bible treats women as second class citizens:
"If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her. (Deuteronomy 22:28-29

Condones slavery:
When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21

Condones murder:
"I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy." (JER 13:14) "Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling."

You see as you read the bible cover to cover, you'll find these types of contradictions all over. I really don't see how anyone can claim this god is loving, but whatever floats your boat.

Verty good.
If you feel God is unrighteous or unjust and have not mentioned the bname of Jesus Christ in your questioons, responses.
Perhaps uou missed the part of Adam and Eve.
Pergaps you are embarassed about God or Jesus christ as though they are below the law and ways of the world.
Really you should realize that Christ Jesus is your mediator between mankind and him.
Many religions do not want a portion of VChrist.

Do you thank God and enter in to prayer? Do you feel he answers you? Do you sense other spirits that seem uncleanm unholy or like that?
ASk yuourself these and answer without making a confession of sin.
he helps many , so many people and through those that believe in Him.

Assume you made a robotic toy and you designed it to operate on a flat plane, so something goes haywire on the inside and it thinks it is supposed to jump over mountains and begins to high jump but in so doing it runs the risk of harming itself and not replicating itself in it prestine robotic condition !!! What actions will you take or not take to solve the future of these replicating robots !!!

When we're ready to become a Christian, we're ready to have our first real conversation with God, and these are its components:

We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God; that He came to earth as a man in order to live the sinless life that we cannot live; that He died in our place, so that we would not have to pay the penalty we deserve.
We confess our past life of sin -- living for ourselves and not obeying God.
We admit we are ready to trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.
We ask Jesus to come into our heart, take up residence there, and begin living through us.

I read the bible and yes, God seems pretty harsh but for me, that was the relationship He had with someone else, or other people. As for you and me, we are different people living in this modern world and as individuals we get to live the kind of personal relationship we want to have with Him. You live it, in your country, your background and your yard, while I live it in mine.

As for all the problems in the world, we can't fix them. We can only fix ourselves and all the things that need to be changed within ourselves. Does God care about you and your interests? Yes. Just as He equipped His Son to feed himself and pray, or heal people and raise the dead etc, He has equipped you with the ability to give yourself clear skin, and whatever it is that you would like to do (maybe smile), in the way of helping other people.

god loves you no matter what you do. he knows about your situationa nd the kid in africas. you cant compare yourself to that kid, because god put him there for a reason. he may grow up to be someone great one day, but the prayers you pray should be important to you and not to be compared with someone elses. if you arent in a bad situation, you arent in a bad situation. you can pray about whatever you want, and all god wants is to have your heart and to be closer to you.

Andre, God is willing and He is able..but how can you know which is good and evil unless both exist.
No, Kyla, God loves you and each one of us..try to seek help of others too about your problems..and seek out in helping others too..it's only when we reach out that we get out of our selfish world
