...Syria, Yemen etc.? If the governments all around Israel are starting to topple or be taken over by other powers, are there any prophecies that could be fulfilled from this? Isn't there something about Damascus being destroyed and the day of Jacob's glory waning or something?

Do you think that some prophecies will be fulfilled from the current unrest in the Middle East and the toppling of various governments all around Israel?

I know that some of the countries are not directly bordering Israel, but you get the idea.

All prophecies in the Bible will be fulfilled. They are the words of Jesus and God.

We are beginning to see the change of the current system of things.

If that were the case, he Crusades and Inquisition would have done it a long time ago. .

No. Drop the apocalyptic escapist fantasies and do what Chrestus told you to do: feed the hungry, clothe the nekkid, and visit the prisoners.

As written in Bible, there should be the Rapture happening, and then the Kingdom Come.

Besides Judgment Day, (May 21, 2011) there are no prophecies in the Bible that are yet to be fulfilled.

Read Ezekiel 38-39. The prophecy is right there, and it's happening right now.

Gog is the leader of Magog, which is Russia, and they are on their way. Rosh is Russia, and Meshech is Moscow. Tubal is Turkey.

Persia is Iran. Ethopia and Libya are the same. Gomer is either the Ukraine, or Germany. Togormah is Turkey.

Sheba and Dedan are Saudi Arabia, and Tarshish is Carthage, or possibly Great Britain.

Ezekiel 38-39 is a must read if you're interested in prophecy and current events. The war of Gog and Magog is coming, whether it's now or 10 years from now...we don't know. The Bible talks about wars and rumors of wars.

Simply put, the nations surrounding my beloved Israel don't want her to be there any more. They are all converging towards her. Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Lebanon, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia. Some of these countries may seem stable at the moment, but all have vowed to wipe Israel off the map.

There's a problem, though. For them. Because God says in Ezekiel that these countries will come against Israel one day, but He will supernaturally stop them before they can attack Israel.

Ezekiel 39: 9-10. God says, "Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years. They will not take wood from the field nor cut down any from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will plunder those who plundered them, and pillage those who pillaged them," says the Lord God.

It will take Israel 7 months to bury the weapons, and the bodies of those who tried to attack, as stated in Ezekiel 39:11.

You know how they say, "Don't mess with Texas?" Well, don't mess with Israel, either. God says so.

Matthew 12:
38Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
