Christians?Can people still be holy even though they are sinners?

I wonder this as i think that when i sin i cannot still be holy at the same time.
I'm feeling really bad over a sin i keep committing.
Will God's holy spirit be far from me now?

obviously god forives sins, according to this poem:
sex is evil, sex is a sin, sins r forgivin, so stick it in.
 
Sure can try to be. 1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
 
I believe holiness and sins don't mix, so you have to receive salvation and a born again experience to keep out of sin.
 
We all sin and fall short of the Glory of Almighty God and the key to being Holy is whether you have truly repented of that sin,stay prayed up and read the Word of Almighty God daily in that it sanctifies and purifies the reader whether you fully Understand it or not.
Remember what you allow yourself to think, see, hear, say and do literally set into motion God’s
creative powers that form the matrix of life’s reality you find yourself now walking, whether good
or bad, so be circumspect, putting your mind, eyes, ears and tongue on what is good, positive and constructive.

That is why Jesus died on the cross in order that all our sins can be forgiven, so be sorry for your sins and intend not to commit them again and do penance and you will be holy
 
Truthfully, everyone is a sinner. God loves you, but just not your sins. You simply repent.
