Christians: Did you have a spiritual experience that convinced you that you were

in the right religion? If so can you please explain to me about how people in other religions have had a spiritual experience telling them that their in the true religion? I mean every person who is seriously religious wouldn't be in that religion if they weren't 100% positive that it was true.....so how does that work out?
 
I had a spiritual experience that converted me from atheism to theism. I became Christian based on my belief that Jesus really did rise from the dead. I've done a lot of research into that question. To be honest, I don't get 'feelings' from my faith-- maybe I'm defective somehow. I don't need them. It works out by comparing the way these religions answer life's fundamental questions: why is there something rather than nothing?; why am I here?; how can I know and be good?; and what happens after we die?. Christianity's answers to these questions are rational (assuming theism) and completely self-consistent. My examination of other faiths led me to conclude that they couldn't be lived with rational consistency.

I'm pretty sure i had an experience last year
Ive grappled with these questions alot
but Ive come to the conclusion
that its up to you to choose what fits you the best
that they are all equally valid and that conflicts over hell or faith or denominations are just ways to control us & make money

I think were taught the wrong way to think of 'God'
like hes 'out there' or 'above' always distant, seperate,
so we project outwards & seek other peoples approval & buy lotsa shit & try to conquer everything around us etc. etc. etc.
instead of looking within and becoming a complete person first
like we should
its a pretty ingenious system they've devised actually
keeping us so wrapped up in guilt and fear and self loathing

You are your own judge
no one outside of you can make you
think or choose anything you don't
want to yourself

People need to stop living their lives with fear as the motivating emotion
there's nothing out there that can hurt you if your
already complete inside
 
I am in no religion.

Haven't been for 35 years/

I read/study the Bible.
I speak to God.

READ GOD'S word.
Obey the Bible.
LIVE life.
LOVE life.
