Christians: I got kicked out of Sunday School for arguing pro-euthanasia?

Hi, Im seventeen, from Arborfield England. I recently got kicked out of sunday school and got grounded for supporting euthanasia and questioning why the church should restrict human's right to die.
Do my beliefs really bear stark contrast to the church's teachings, or am I free to be an advocate of the Right to Die?

if suicide is illegal, why shouldn't euthanasia be? Regardless of how hopeless or miserable that person might be, they're still doing harm to themselves by giving consent to die. And if I remember right, one of the commandments about murder and harming one's neighbor also applies to doing yourself harm as well (at least, in some interpretations)

I agree with Right to Die and who cares if it goes against them, you can have your own beliefs. I mainly just wanted to comment to have a hearty laugh at the idiot Deep Thought who said your 1st Amendment right was violated even though you specifically said you were from England. What a dunce.

You are free to your own beliefs. I'm too pro-euthanasia. I've had to do it for some animals and though I felt very upset about it, I also know it was worse for the animals to keep living. I wouldn't do it if it stood any bit of chance of survival. My cat had to be euthanized because she was dying of a kidney disease very fast, and every second seemed more painful for her. It was also too late to save her. I'm glad I got to be the one to hold her and sing her to sleep. You should not have been kicked out of sunday school for that, but then again it is church. They`d propably kick you out for saying god told you to be gay. Just kidding. Humans definately deserve the right to die in a painless sleep.

The church teaches that life should only end naturally, not with help. Turning a ventilator off to allow someone to die is not euthanasia. Injecting them with a lethal dose of something is not natural and violates church teachings.
