chrysler 300 H.i.d lights question?

ok ive had h.i.d. light installed on my car for over a year, last night i went to the gas station and when i got out of putting gas both when out, my highbeams still work, and the h.i.d started working as soon as i accelerated away, when i got home they went off and then i accelerated away and it turned on again, ? does anyone know what mite be causing the problem or what is happening?
