We have an Intermec Cn3 handheld with windows mobile (i think ce) installed. Using WASP as our inventory program.
Trying to make an inventory list by using the handheld to barcode scan in numbered assets.
When i try to bring up an existing item by scanning it, it takes over 40 seconds to bring the items info up. That is a problem for us.
Now it doesnt connect to the database wirelessly when scanning items in or out, theres a usb dock that we use to sync it when done.
Scanning new items in is no issue, but when i try to scan an existing item it takes over half a minute to pull up info. I could understand if there were a couple thousand items but there are only 10 items in the database right now.
I took the wireless off just in case it was trying to sync wirelessly and failing casuing lag, then tried to update the database to filter out a bunch of uneeded search items when it scans.
but its stilllll taking forever.
I know its not a ton of detail but this is a test project and its not moving well because of this issue.
