Cod4 Xbox 360 Help!!?

i've been playing CoD4 for PS3 for ages and i can usually host a game easilly but on 360 i cant host, plzz help. do u need special net settings?

xbox 360 servers will pick the best network connection among all players and set up the person with the best one as host. unless you do i private match.
