Complaining of pain under the rib cage. What could it be?

I broke a rib about a week ago, the diagnosis is based on a exam(never got xray) I have pain under my rib cage. Is there anything I can do?
 
There's pretty much NOTHING you can do for a broken rib, but try putting a heating pad on it, it should feel a little better.
If you have a lot of pain behind the rib cage, you might have some sort of internal injury, so get it checked out.
