I'm in Japan. My Dell desktop Optiplex 745 running XP with office 2000, had for 2 years, is still blurry after trying
1. screen adjustments
2. used Advanced SystemCare free to fix the registry keys etc
3. resetting to an earlier date before it was blurry
4. replaced the video card
5. and tried a different monitor
6. of course scanned for viruses using AVG free
All of these have failed to make a difference. One thought was that it was because of AVG because now a different computer which is a laptop seems to be going blurry, it is also a Dell and is about 8 years old, but I don't think it is related. Another thought was that the univ (in Japan) has used a copy of office 2000 for about 10 different computers that this office uses. Any advice out there? The computer tech guys on campus seem to have no clue and it also seems like I know more than they do.
