Connect Dish Network receiver to wifi?

I ordered Dish yesterday, and they are to hook it up on Thursday. I also ordered the Sling Adapter, which they are to bring along to hook up. I have cable internet, and the problem is my router is in a completely different room than my receiver will be. I tried looking up how to hook my receiver up to a wireless signal and found out about a NetGear Adapter. The reviews on Amazon are not good for it though. Is this the only adapter I can use with my receiver, or will any wireless adapter work? The NetGear adapter is $40 online, and I don't want to spend more than that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
 
$40 is the lower end I think

You need a WiFi Ethernet bridge, and N router, and the bridge to be N. Otherwise you won't like the outcome.

Or get powerline Ethernet extenders.
