ok so i have a movie in my hard drive that i want to convert to ipod Touch format (mp4), however after after converting it and playing it on my ipod, the screen was distorted, i chose the resolution as (640 x 480) because thats the ipod screen size, but i need the size for a widescreen movie. the movie is 16:9 format, can someone please tell me the resolution to use, it doesn't matter if there are black bars on the top and bottom while playing the movie.
converting dvd to ipod format. using handbrake. help?

In Handbrake, go to the movie size area, and then Click the anamorphic drop down menu, and click loose. Hope this helps
