I don't get much from Rush, mostly whatever the lefties try to mis-communicate to their sheep so I cannot really answer that question.

He does seem quite capable of putting together a coherent indictment of many liberal policies and it makes me wonder why the smarter left cannot provide cognitive feedback that addresses the issues as opposed to calling the man fat.

If the left is brimming with political intellectuals, why can they not refute, on a case by case basis, the issues that Rush shares? Surely you can find sources to repudiate (refudiate I guess you prefer now) that are not initiated by mediamatters, dailykos, michaelslobbomoore, etc.
