If you mean the knowledge of a future event without apparent reason, I don't think so. It's more probable that most things we call premonitions are merely a result of so many people in the world thinking so many things would happen that just the laws of chance alone would dictate that their visions would occasionally come to pass.

Also, if th's true that many premonitions are felt by mothers about their children, this may be because mothers spend so much time worrying about their children that these coincidences would naturally happen more frequently to them. How often, for example, do we hear of a mother's premonition involving a HAPPY event or for ANOTHER woman's child? And more significantly, how often do their fears NOT come true?
