Could the elements of this dream make an interesting fantasy story?

I loved this dream so much that I am itching to write a story about it, but if it sounds like it would be a flop without a really interesting plot, I'm not going to bother.

So, in my dream, this is everything that I know, or remember:

- The setting of the dream was a pitch black and completely endless void. The people in my dream called it by two different names: The belly of the Devorantum (a planet-devouring creature I made about three months earlier), and the outlet of a black hole.
- Inside the black hole or belly, there was earth, but it wasn't whole-earth. I called it other-earth. This earth was divided into millions of floating islands. But only half of it made its way to the area that I got to see. The other half of it was forever lost. Apparently, squadrons had been sent out to find it, but none ever came back.
- There was water present in this place. It was the heaviest thing in existence according to the strange gravity, and sank to the bottom of the void.
- Each of these islands held something different. Some held houses, some held landmarks, some held schools and offices, some held hospitals. Each was of a different size. But I most distinctly remember the Eiffel Tower rooted to a piece of Earth floating next to the Pyramid of Giza and the Sydney Opera House. They were pieces from all over the world right next to each other on these islands.
- Despite the darkness of the place, everything could be seen perfectly, Lightning flashed through the sky every few seconds, but no thunder came. This place was electrically charged, and the lights glowed on every island. They never shut off, even if the switches were turned off. The light bulbs would have to have been smashed.
- Winding through these islands was an enormous network of roads. Asphalt floating on a great hunk of earth, winding through the darkness, lit by billions of footlights on either side.
- Because the islands constantly shifted in the gravity-free environment, only the smaller islands could be connected together to the large ones, and even those bonds didn't last forever.
- Because of the shifting islands, the people needed a way to hop from island to island easily. According to the strange gravity, smaller items floated more easily. So the humans were bound to float away, but because their bodies are made of 70% water, if they stray too far away from a floating island, they can easily float off, but if they jump directly off an island, they would fall to the water and die. So, the engineers designed reflective wings called Annex-Alis that can be seen in the dark, and they are used to hop from floating island to floating island.
- Two years after the panic had settled down, the half of the earth that remained was divided into sectors, and the most well-educated person in each sector was chosen to lead that sector. The leader was called a 'Luminary'. The Luminary of the sector the dream took place in, his name was Luminary Judah Knight. He owned a great, big, five-star hotel and kept business flowing in his sector. Because his sector was mainly small buildings, they were lucky to have the hotel, and Luminary Knight, who was kind to all his visitors.

These all happened in my dream. I came up with none of it consciously. Which, and I've gotta say, was pretty strangely detailed. But that's what made it the coolest. Dream. Ever.

I would also give it a plot, obviously, but does the main idea sound cool? Floating islands? Lost half of the earth? It made for a cool dream, but I'm not sure if it sounds as good down on paper. So, I'm just curious! Thanks! (:
@My Faded Dreams: Yes, he was quite the character in my dream as well. He was nice, but kind of came off as scary. I was also thinking of making him the angatonist. (:
