Could you put 8G of memory on a toshiba sattelite c655 laptop?

It depends on the CPU and the operating system, if it is a 64bit system, then you probably can. However, if it's a 32bit system, then it's not possible to go over 3G. You can see how many bits is ur system by going to system properties in the control panel.

Yeah, you can bring it up to 8GB of DDR3 memory. It's around $100 for a 8gb (2X4gb) kit. You need to see if you have a 64-bit Windows OS for sure. If you have a 32-bit OS, you'd have to buy a retail copy of Windows 7 in order to upgrade to Windows 64-bit. Remember, the 32-bit Windows OS won't go over 4gb.

You can't upgrade the graphics chip.

You may be able to upgrade the processor. You would need to check with Toshiba to see what kind of Intel processors you can use.

You can also upgrade the Hard Drive in your Laptop. You'd want to get a 7200 rpm hard drive. The Seagate Momentus XT would be pretty good hard drive for your laptop.
