There's this college nearby that I really want to get into. I don't have any high school transcripts because I have a GED. My admissions adviser told me that gathering a portfolio might increase my chances of being accepted. I don't have any formal art training but I have the talent enough to sketch out my designs. I don't know how to make a formal portfolio!
What size paper do I use? Should I put them in a binder? A folder? A sketch journal? How many should I draw? How many sketches per page? Should I color them and with what?!
A portfolio is not required so they didn't set specifications. However with no grades to show a portfolio may be my only shot at getting in! I really need help...
Also in case you were curious the college's name is Virgina Marti College of Art & Design (VMCAD)
