I have been using this machine for about 20 hours succesfully, archiving old stuff. Now it refuses copy, message says 'tape is protected' but these are my own VHSs with no copy protection. Sometimes the message says 'cannot record to this disc,try another' - all are fresh DVD+R. If I try a fresh DVD+RW, it does not 'initialise'. Ideas? Is it headed for the bin? Thanks
