Hey Hey.

For a little over 2 years I've been on a "quest" to find the religion for me!
I've always believed in a deity, a Creator. Yet I have not put myself to one religion.
I cast away Christianity, solely because I reject the concept of the Trinity, passing edits by man down as to be the Divine word.
I looked into Judaism for a long time. Then Islam. Then Buddhism. Then Hinduism. Then finally Sikhism.

I have come to a thought, is it worth it to dedicate myself to one organised religion?
Would I feel as, "enlightened", by simply believing in this deity?
I feel a lot of the ideas I have learnt from all world religions are good ideas. I would be willing to adopt many of them to my own day to day life.

Do you think it can work? For example, instead of keeping a one book, (Quran, Tanakh etc etc ) have all of them? Study from them all in my own way?
BUT, the complication comes to the laws. Which laws do I keep? Do I honour the Sabbath?
Do I go to Jummah prayers?
Do I wear a turban and carry the kirpan?

BTW> don't bombard me with, "Christ can help you...." etc etc.
because I have realised, he cannot!
Would just like to hear everyone elses ideas.

Cheers.
