Basically, my HDD on my Inspiron 1501 has just packed up and I can't start Windows. I've got a couple of questions:
1. I've got a repair guy coming to look at my computer tonight, he wants to check it over himself although I'm 100% sure it's HD failure. Is there any way he or I will be able to salvage anything that was on that drive? There's a lot of stuff I really wanted on there, and no, I haven't backed it up.
2) I'm going to need to get a new one: will this work alright? It's the best one I've found for the price.
