Did Roger Waters' wife cheat on him?

If so, which one? I believe I read somewhere that in the Wall when Pink calls his wife and a man answers that that actually happened to Waters and I wanted to see if anyone could confirm that. Also, now that we're on the subject, can anyone answer these other questions about him: is he a socialist? Is he an atheist? Based on practically all pink floyd albums (Animals, the Final Cut, the Wall) it seems like politically and religiously Waters isn't satisfied with anything, so I was wondering what he is actually for.

Pink in the movie doesn't definitely represent Roger Waters. However Roger Waters views are in fact socialistic and he is part of the celebrity atheists list.

Well, you have to remember that in The Wall, Roger Waters is mixing and matching his life with his father's life, and Syd Barret's life.

In the movie it certainly seems like his wife cheated on him while he was on an American tour, cheating on her at the same time.

Roger Waters is staunchly anti-fascist.
