Car went in for some work yest,(no obvious problems) new suspension coil, front brakes and spark plugs, collected and paid for car once work was done only to be advised that the 'sump' was leaking (puddle could be seenon garage floor underneath car) and that my car had no oil but they had refilled oil levels,booked the car in to get the work done next week, drove about 20 miles and all of a sudden theres a loud whining noise and sudden heavy steering along with a terrible noise when trying to turn wheel and there is oil pouring out from somewhere, Granted the oil levels may have been low prior to visit, but surely if this was the case then oil indicator lamp would have lit, seizure of engine and more to the point if my car was leaking as much as it is just now i would have noticed!
what can i do, its my belief that they must have damaged something but how can i prove this?
car has jst been collected and was told if def power streering and it couldn't have been them, but if there was apuddle of fluid on ground when i collected car to which they said that was the sump.....how could it not be them what can i do?
