Here's an ad for a Ford 7.3L diesel 4x4 pickup. http://newlondon.craigslist.org/ctd/1785648423.html
The ad doesn't say the year, the mileage, or even if it is automatic or manual.
Similar Dodge diesels with Cummins engines go for at LEAST DOUBLE.
I recently drove a UHaul truck with Ford gasoline engine. I couldn't see the specs but the largest gasoline engine traditionally has been 460ci.
UHaul used to have a fleet of Ford diesels.
I also drove a GMC diesel with Caterpiller engine.
Comparing Ford diesel, Ford gas, Dodge Cummins and GMC with Caterpiller diesel, which is better for
1) cost of maintenance
2) power
Which is known for major problems like head gasket failure?
