diet and fitness help pleasee !!!?

Hey , I've recently just started to get fit . I've tried before but have never stuck with it . So I joined the gym to motivate myself even more . I have done some research and stuff , but I'm still not 100% sure if what I'm doing is going to achieve anything :/ . In 14 weeks I'm going overseas . My goal is to drop at least one jeans size in that time and to tone up . It would be nice to get rid of some of the flab on my stomach and hip and arms and show some of the muscles . But I don't know HOW to do any of this ? what are the best ways to loose weight and tone up in 14 weeks . Is that even possible ? If so , what exercises , how long do I need to do them and when ? Do I need to eat less , and if so , whats a suitable amount for a 17 year old who weighs 60kg ? Any tips and answers are appreciated . Thanks :)
