DirecTV HDMI to Dynex 40" LCD, No Sound all of a sudden?

Out of the blue my DirecTV has quit putting out sound through my TV, was working fine till now. Connected to the TV by HDMI

DirecTV is a DVR Receiver
TV is a 40" Dynex LCD

What happned, some mess-up on DirecTV's end? Even the recorded programs have no sound.
