DivX Not Working in firefox on vista?

I have used DivX to watch videos for many sites includeing stagevu and movshare but now all of a sudden i can't on firefox. i am using firefox 3.5.5 and according to the read me file i have the 1.5 version of DivX web player i tried it on internet explorer and works fine i also reinstalled DivX. any good advice?
