Do bad things happen to girls at hockey rookie parties ?

I was invited by a friend to attend a rookie party with her because she was asked by a guy she sort of likes. But I hear from my brother, who is also a hockey player, that only skanks go to rookie parties. That girls just go to hook up with guys. I really want to go to get noticed by a certain guy but also by everyone else. (My sister graduated last year and shes drop dead gorgeous, I want to be noticed too) Is this true?
 
Haha I remember the rookie parties. Back in junior (I would have been 18 at the time), the guys made costumes for all the rookies to wear. I had to be one of the spice girls, along with a few other rookies.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. Be smart, don't let peer pressure or alcohol make you do anything you don't want to do, or feel comfortable doing. And relax, and have fun!
 
just like all parties girls that act a fool will wake up with a regret or two... use your head... and keep in mind you want to be noticed for the long term not for a story he tells strangers after leaving you in a room to clean up... act like you want to be treated dont do skanky things and no one will think your a skank... its just that simple
