The vast majority of those who call themselves Christians faithfully practice idolatry on a daily basis by loving others and things more than God,especially the false gods MONEY and NATION and FAMILY.:itching:

Luke 14:25-27

25 Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, 26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, WIFE and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. 27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.
 
Unfortunately they do because it was installed in to them at birth or they were manipulated when they were in a emotional crisis and someone converted them with words of emotional support when the true savior is in your mirror it just takes time to resurrect the spirit within thyself. So this passes on and on because if you're a child who do you learn and trust first supposedly of course your religious parents. So if someone from the outside is more realistic with the truth they get all up in arms because the bible/religion only offers words of comfort which people remembered as a child. And the cycle goes on...
 
Do you mean your LOVE is genuine with your lip service? Think again. How do you tell from your left hand and right hand by just looking at those "lines" interwoven one another? Think again! Love heals many deep wounds...
