Only if you are outside of your local calling area. If for example, you have a Toronto number and travel to Ottawa, then every single call you receive (regardless of where the call originates from) would be a long distance call - this would be since the call would have to be routed from Toronto to Ottawa. If you are inside your home area though, then every single call you receive would be local - regardless of where the call originates from.
