I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. I'm looking at a BP1204 Dual 12" in a bandpass enclosure. Crutchfield is offering a package that would include a 2-channel amplifier. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Chevy Cobalt has RCA connections, or if I'm going to have to buy a whole new headunit?
I only have a small understanding of the wiring involved, but the person who offered to wire the system for me is just...an asshole. I understand how to connect the subs to the amplifier inself, but wiring the amplifier to my headunit is the tricky part. Does anyone know of a good site for explaining this?
If that's the case, can anyone recommend a good replacement that would fit the weird shape of the Cobalt's preexisting unit?
