Do male gay couple generally exchange wedding rings in wedding ceremonies?

Q.1) The same as the title question. If you answer "no" to this question , then what do they usually exchange?


As a straight guy, I have a male gay buddy Michael who plans to marry his partner in Canada soon. I am invited to his wedding ceremony.

Question 2) In a gay marriage ceremony, what are the general procedures?
( e.g. ring-exchanging, husbands kissing each other or etc?)
