Do Mormons ever discuss the danger of following a false Christ Jesus?

Yes and no. We don't spend our time having sermons on the perceived false Christ of other religions. We are more concerned about strengthening ourselves against our own personal weaknesses and preparing ourselves spiritually so we can be in tune to the Holy Ghost who testifies the truth to us.
"How are you to know the False Christ if you don't have the truth of Gods Word ?"
We feel confident that Christ has established his church on the earth and that the authority to administer the gospel has also been restored and that those who lead the church have been called of God, not man. We believe that our prophet speaks for God and thus leads us according to God's will. Again, we rely on the Holy Ghost to testify the truth to us.
