Do parts off a 98 E36 BMW, fit a 99 E36 BMW?

I've been looking up aftermarket parts for a BMW 3-Series _323i. And some of the parts, such as tail lights and headlights. Say 92-98 and others are 92-99. Will the parts that are 92-98 still fit a 99? It's the same generation so it's confusing.
I'm not used to any other kind of vehicle besides Nissans and Honda's.
