With the whole Phelps bong scandal and Kellogg deciding to drop him, it occurred to me that maybe they did it b/c he wasn't bringing a lot of profit to their company any way. I can understand Speedo endorsing him, but why the hell would people care if he endorsed cereal?

I thought this question was pertaining to politics. But no, I really don't pay attention to that OR the opinions of celebrities when it comes to which president they support.

I don't think that they carry as much weight as they used to. Consumers are smarter than they used to be. At least I'd like to think so.

I don't care about celebrities or endorsements by celebrities. It's too bad he was dropped by Kellogg's for doing a bong hit or whatever. I am more likely to pay attention to an endorsement from Consumer Reports because the are NOT paid to endorse a product.
