realize they are part of the problem? The divisive nature of the Politics section really is representative of what is going on in Congress. You people realize that making ignorant comments about either Democrats or Republicans accomplishes nothing? And yet you complain that nothing is getting done in our country?

I love the hypocrisy.
 
I don't JUST complain. I work at a local and state level to get people elected that suit my beliefs. I also attend the local political forums to ask pertinent questions to those I oppose in order to get people in the live and radio audiences listening in to think more critically instead of just following the "party" lines. You are wrong that nothing is getting done in our country. Look at the Ohioan voters rejection of Issue 2 and getting rid of that UnAmerican law!!! People complained, people marched, people went door to door, and the People won a huge victory.
 
I am not part of the problem. Democrats are better leaders than Republicans. With the expansion of conservatively biased media and their agenda of breeding contempt for other outlets of information, such as mainstream media and education, I advocate for the liberal position to counter their indoctrination and prevent the brainwashing of our country. I am part of the solution of preventing the continued failures of Republican Party and their scapegoating of liberals.

My actions are not hypocritical; they are justified.
 
Both parties suck. Democrats are socialists and Republicans are socialist-lite. The problem is there are not enough true conservatives left in government.
 
I think we need a rule that people can only complain about spending and raising the debt ceiling
 
I am probably one of those on the right whom you hypocritically complain about complaining but, in case you haven't noticed, there is indeed an "us against them" atmosphere but it isn't bred through "ignorance" but harsh reality; the left has been destroying every tenet that is America, the most recent being capitalism through class warfare. You can blame Wall Street, the "rich", welfare babies, etc. all you like but the sad fact is that it is neoliberalism which created and endorsed it all! So if you cannot at least choose a side (although I believe I know which side you will choose already) then I submit it is YOU whom are "part of the problem" and not US who actively take a stand; if you can't choose, at least stay out of the way!!
 
Maybe, but it feels good. Just wait until we go to the voting booth, by voting I get the right to bytch.
