Do people really think Taco Bell is real Mexican food?

Yeah I know its not authentic and I'm not Mexican but I've had Mexican dishes before and they taste nothing like Taco Bell but I do like Taco Bell.
Lots of food in the western world from other countries are the westernized versions of food....like Chinese, Chinese food over here is nothing like what they eat in China.
But it sells so that's what gets sold.
