corporate rights are, as well? Corporations got their rights to be considered equivalent to "persons," or human beings, through a fairly silly, ridiculous interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment, which was originally passed to protect the human rights of black slaves. The ruling was _Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad_, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Clara_County_v._Southern_Pacific_Railroad . Profiteers used an amendment meant to protect the poor and discriminated-against to instead create money-hungry institutions.
How "constitutional" is the premise upon which the main business structure and much of the wealth in this country is based? Do cons and tea-baggers not understand that the basic condition of the Constitution is that is must be INTERPRETED?
Ha. Wow. Don't read the whole question or anything. I'm talking about the CONSTITUTION.
