Do politicians use religion and Gods name to get votes and as fear...

...ta-tics to control citizens? Oh yes they do, I believe in God very deeply and I believe everything the Holy Bible says is true, but when politicians do this, it is wrong! God does not belong to a political party, nor should we fear anyone because of their religion! No, no, it is wrong! I do not think God himself likes it at all! I, myself wouldn't recommend anyone to attend a church who tells you how to vote! God does not belong to a political party!
 
On the 15th I went to a Tea Party. They had the Boy Scouts carry in a variety of Flags. Then they read from the Bible. As though to say the boy scouts and God appove of this party. I was turned off by both. It is wrong to use the Boy scouts in that way. It is also wrong to quote scripture at a political rally. I decided then that I could not be a member of the Tea Party. But, It does amaze me at how some people will support anything that uses Gods name, without even knowing what their platform it. BTW. The only platform the tea Party has is to support Huckabees Fairtax.org.
 
I agree, it's wrong and politicians do. But seriously, any politician that says they're a Christian, I don't believe until they act like one. Obama says he's a Christian, but he cancelled the national day of prayer at the white house. I don't believe a word he says about his religion.

I don't think that God has a political party, and my church does not tell anybody how to vote. Myself, I registered as a Republican, but just for the moral values of the Republican party. In business and economics, a lot of times I side with the democrats.
 
Religion and Politics should not mix.

No earthly government can sort out mankind’s problems, only God can do that. Even the prophet Jeremiah said @ Jeremiah 10:23. I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.

My vote goes to God!

You know the answer to that without asking, of course they do. Obama even stradles Christianity and Islam.
 
When a politician says "in GOD we trust"..He really means "Gold-Oil-Drugs" Governments feed on peoples fears in order to make them reliant on the govt to make all the decisions for them. Its all about enslaving the whole of society and nothing else. Thats the cold hard truth.
