Definitely just look at what recently happened with Jessica Simpsom, I think it is more the medias and industrys fault & not so much the stars fault.

yes they do they fix up pix's to make them look better and people don't know that and think there is something wrong with them that they don't look that good. Now in the usa we think if you don't look good an young that you can't get anywhere. I had a lady who was checking me out at wal-mart tell me that you can't get a a good job if you don't look bad that woman have to wear makeup and dress nice always or the world would think they are trash or nothing.
This lady was older and i found it sad the even the old can't lead us to be more than fake, and lost.

Yes I think they do. Because all young girls (and guys too) see the pictures of the skinny, beautiful models and want to be like them and so they try to lose weight and it leads to unhealthy problems and lifestyles to try and become like their "idols" instead of being themselves. that is just my opinion.

I think the media greatly influences negative effects on our young people because they portray celebrities to be absolutely beautiful (most have had 'work done'), and super size 0. Normal women are not a size 0 or even a size 2.
