i have seen the new 2010 cts and it looks really great. do u think it can hang with a benz or bmw in complete quality and power..... and of course sex appeal haha

Absolutely...and we won't even take the CTS-V into account. Let's just compare a fully loaded all wheel drive 2010 Cadillac CTS, to a 2010 Mercedes E350, to a 2010 BMW 535xi. All cars are similar in size, price class and motor size. They are also all all wheel drive to be fair.

2010 Cadillac CTS AWD Premium
MSRP = $51,820
Engine= 3.6 liter V6
304 Horsepower
273 ft/lbs of torque
5 year, 100,000 mile warranty
18mpg city
27mpg highway
Weighs 3861lbs
0-60mph in 5.4 seconds

2010 Mercedes E350 4matic sport sedan
MSRP = $51,100
Engine = 3.5 liter V6
268 Horsepower
258 Ft/lbs of torque
4 year/ 50,000 mile warranty
16 mpg city
24 mpg highway
Weighs 3979lbs
0-60mph in 6.4 seconds

2010 BMW 535xi
MSRP = $53,400
Engine = 3.5 liter twin turbocharged V6
300 horsepower
300 ft/lbs of torque
4 year/ 50,000 mile warranty
16 mpg city
25 mpg highway
Weighs 3902 lbs
0-60mph in 5.5 seconds

The choice is yours. I have to wonder why Cadillac offers a better warranty than Mercedes or BMW?

In terms of sex appeal, maybe not. But it is even more potent than the previous model.
