do u think staring is enough to show a guy u r interested?

so i love this guy aloot n i am a bit insecure so i did the followings to show him i am interested:
-always stared at him from far
-teased him as much as i could
-laughed at whatever he said
-sometimes ignored him becuz he ignored me too
n i shuld say we r close friends
do u think it was enough to show him i like him more than a friend??

dont stare at him omg r u trying to scare him away ? look at him for a second longer than you would normally then look down and glance at him again.
