me and my friends just recently started arguing about if creation and evolution are true. i personally believe in both. i know it dosent make sense, but i believe in evolution because science has proved it and i also believe in creation because i have faith in god. i also believe that god gave us brains so we can develop things like science and some day we will be able to prove that the world was created in 7 days maybe. i also have another theory that the world was not really created in 7 days but because the men who wrote the bible lived in the ancient times did not understand the concept of quantum physics and such so GODS message was simplified, also was there not a place in the bible that said a day in Gods eye is about 100,000 yrs or so to man. so maybe this could explain why maybe scientifically evolution might have taking thousands of years but to God days passed, and with the people who wrote the bible having no concept of evolution wrote a day, who knows am just speculating. also maybe this explains why such things as cloning, or blood transfusions are not mentioned in the bible because when the bible was written the people alive then could not understand what those mean. overall all i can say is i believe in both, in a science class i will give the answer as evolution because science proves it. while in the church i believe it is creation because i truly believe in god and i have faith. no one can force me to choose just one after all god gave us brains and my with our knowledge we have proved evolution is a fact what is the point in all this athiest vs christians thing going on in america. one last thing am from nigeria here children are sometimes thought 3 different sources of life, creationism and evolution both taught in schools and at home ur parents or grand parents tell u about ur ethnic or tribal belief of how life came to be and evryone seems to be fine with it. so which do u think evolution or creation

Well, smart guy, to answer your question you posed to me in the below thread, I'll respond by directing you to Gus's answer. It's because the Founding Fathers saw religious persecution everywhere they looked. One dominant religion would dictate their own laws. Justice couldn't be blind if religions controlled the courts and government. Justice may not be blind but it's not because of religion. It's mostly caused by greed, corruption, and stereotypes. Stereotypes that are usually created by the "US vs. THEM" mentality of all organized religions. You can't Debate Evolution Vs. Creationism because there is no evidence for Creationism other than Anecdotes and Mythology.

It is like arguing Antibiotics vs. Prayer - Physics vs. Magic.

There is not a side to pick, Creationism (or if you like 'ID') is just a joke. It is only taken seriously in a very small area of the USA and one or two other places where they have managed to brainwash.
 
Truth is evidence,
but what you believe is true is totally different.
Though i do believe in evolution strongly.
 
It takes more faith to believe in evolution than believing in a God who designed living things.
