Do you ever get frustrated arguing with the so called conservatives?

I get so frustrated arguing with so called conservatives.

Whenever it comes to an issue regarding foreign policy the answer is always big government and to spend whatever amount regardless of the economic consequences.

What is conservative about big government and big spending?
 
Even without the Constitution saying so? It is doing the right thing to do somethings in regards to foreign relations.
1. Defend the nation and frontiers
2. Defend our Allies and stand by them
3. Defend the international interests (trade-security-peace) of the nation and allies
It does not take a rocket scientist to see that. Nor does it take a mighty Great Government to do so. JFK himself laid it out nicely. Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

The governments we have local, state and federal were FAR less in size then than now.
 
Don't you have your parties confused?? It might also have to do with the fact that you never win..
 
You are confused. Conservatives favor smaller government and less government spending. We want our government to provide a strong national defense...and not much more.
 
They have trouble talking out of both sides of their mouths on those types of issues...
 
We want to have a large military to protect this country..
not a large bureaucracy within our government. Get it right lib
